I started taking classes at the Artisan Center when it was part of Patrick Henry Community College. I learned stained glass, beading and pottery. When I took the classes in beaded jewelry, I was hooked. I earned a certificate in Beaded Jewelry and I also have a certificate in Precious Metal Clay (PMC). I am currently taking a class at the New York Institute in Jewelry Design. I always look for ways to learn more. I can make my own beads as well as cabochons in my jewelry making.

I am currently working on starting a Beading club in Martinsville and Henry County to get all the jewelry makers together and learn from each other.

I do custom orders. Prices range from $10 to $40.
