Manassas Clay has the artistry of 40 local potters who work in stoneware, earthenware, porcelain or Raku. The potters have their own mini-gallery within the larger gallery so a shopper can readily distinguish the different styles, designs, colors which defines each artists work. We opened Manassas Clay in 1996 and many of our members have been with us for the 21 years we have been in Old Town Manassas. Others have been our students who have progressed to having their work juried into the gallery.

Classes. We offer 16 different pottery classes per week in wheel, handbuilding, teens and children’s classes from beginners to intermediate to advanced. We have four electric kilns that run continuously so we can get the students work back to them in a timely manner. Off-site Raku, reduction and soda kiln firings are available for our students and for local potters who might be interested and do not have kilns of their own.

Adult Mini-Workshops: perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, showers, team building.

Kids Play: Birthdays, Scouts, Home School.

Supplies and Equipment: Tin Barn Pottery Supply is our in-house supply store for clays, glazes, tools, slips.

Artist Studios allow potters to have their own private space to work.
