Big Dog Pots Pottery is a working 5,000 square foot art studio. We offer walk-in pottery painting 7 days a week, classes in wheel throwing, clay making, and glass fusing. Schedule your next party, event, or off-site team building session with Big Dog Pots Pottery. We will work with you to create an excellent experience. In town for a short time and always wanted to try wheel throwing or glass making? Contact us at (540) 364-2834 to schedule a private “TRY IT” session, finished pieces will be shipped to you when they complete the firing process.

Big Dog Pots Pottery is a walk-in art making center complete with a full Gallery of handmade gifts. Potter Lori Langford specializes in handmade functional pottery pieces. Lori’s pieces are perfect for everyday use. Lori creates one of a kind wedding gifts, and a variety of personalized gifts. The Studio is unique in the mid-Atlantic region offering 5,000 square feet of working space, a private party room, 9 pottery wheels, and over 1,000 pieces of ready to paint pottery.

In the Gift Shop at Big Dog Pots in addition to Lori’s unique pieces, you will find crystalline pottery, horse hair, Raku and other arts created by local and regional artists.

Big Dog Pots Pottery offers classes for all ages, weekend workshops, private art making sessions and walk-in pottery painting.

Big Dog Pots Pottery is committed to donating a portion of its proceeds to charity. Many of our local benefactors are animal rescue organizations. Animals have always been a source of love, companionship and refuge to Lori and her family. They are blessed to have found a way to honor their animals, past and present, and bring everyday joy to people lives.
